Trader Joe’s Gluten Free Mac & Cheese

Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite grocery stores. It has quite a few gluten free options and is nowhere near as expensive as Whole Foods. Every time I go to Trader Joe’s, I find a great new gluten free product. On my last visit, I decided to try the frozen Trader Joe’s Gluten Free Mac & Cheese.

This mac and cheese is a small portion, but the amount of cheese more than makes up for it. It’s a great frozen meal, but it does take 30-35 minutes to cook. At only $2.99, I think this is a good choice. Some gluten free pasta can be mushy, but this pasta maintains a nice chewy taste to it.

What do you think? Have you tried Trader Joe’s gluten free mac & cheese?

  1. Yum! I didn’t realize Trader Joe’s carried gluten free mac & cheese. So, obviously I haven’t tried it yet, but I will now! On a quick trip to Walmart a few weeks ago, I randomly discovered their Great Value brand carries a whole line of gluten free foods. Surprisingly, their mac & cheese wasn’t bad!

I’m not gonna lie — I feel a little overwhelmed whenever I go to Trader Joe’s. It’s always packed, so I feel rushed! I’d be interested to know what other products they carry that you really like 🙂

    • I’ve had the Walmart brand too. It’s not bad. Overall, the Great Value products are pretty good and reasonably priced! I feel the same way about Trader Joe’s. It’s always crazy in there – especially on the weekends! One of my favorite gluten free products from Trader Joe’s are the chocolate cupcakes with vanilla icing. They’re very sweet but delicious! I think they run about $3.99 for 4 cupcakes.
