Gluten Free at Cheesecake Factory

This past weekend my brother was in town to celebrate his birthday, and we hit up one of his favorite places – the Cheesecake Factory. I’ve eaten there many times since going gluten free and have never had any issues. Unlike PF Chang’s, the Cheesecake Factory has a separate gluten free menu which includes appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, specialty dishes (including steak, chicken, and fish options), omelettes, and desserts.

Even with so many options, I always stick with the same thing – the Americana Cheeseburger. The Americana Cheeseburger has both American and cheddar cheese along with crunchy potato crisps on top and is served on a gluten free bun (Udi’s). Your choice of a salad, regular fries, or sweet potato fries come along with the burger.

In my opinion, the burgers are very tasty, and the waiters I’ve had in the past have always taken care to answer any questions I have about the food preparation area.

Along with other desserts, the Cheesecake Factory offers one gluten free cheesecake option – the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake. I’ve heard great things about this cheesecake, but so far I’ve always been too full to order it.
